The West Palm Beach Police Department will announce particulars regarding the ShotSpotter deployment, how it works, and how it can help lower crime rates while keeping officers and citizens safe.
The West Palm Beach Police Department to Host Press Conference Announcing ShotSpotter Tuesday, August 14, 2018, 11:00 a.m., West Palm Beach Police Department Community Room, 600 Banyan Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Shotspotter gunshot detection technology to be deployed in West Palm Beach. ShotSpotter helps local law enforcement agencies by directing police to precise locations of illegal gunfire incidents. Thus, enabling first responders to locate and aid victims, locate witnesses, collect evidence, and apprehend armed and dangerous offenders. During the press conference the West Palm Beach Police Department will announce particulars regarding the ShotSpotter deployment, how it works, and how it can help lower crime rates while keeping officers and citizens safe.
