Mayor James will participate in the Conference alongside leaders from 13 other states.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (April 24, 2019) –
West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to attend the Leadership Meeting of the Southern Municipal Conference from April 24-26, 2019. The Southern Municipal Conference is a network of state municipal leagues sharing information and developing solutions to challenges that affect southern cities.
With a vision of a new era of collaboration with City partners, stakeholders, and residents, Mayor James will participate in the Conference alongside leaders from 13 other states.
Mayor is attending the Conference as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Cities, a united voice for Florida’s municipal governments. Mayor James is also Immediate Past President of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, a non-partisan, non-profit membership organization that represents all 39 Palm Beach County municipalities and more than 100 associate government, non-profit and business organizations.
