WOODLAWN CEMETERY WALKING TOUR TO OFFER SPRING CHILLS AND HISTORY! WHAT: Join the City of West Palm Beach and historians Janet DeVries Naughton and Dr. Ginger Pederson for a walking tour of historic Woodlawn Cemetery! Your guides, from the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, will tell the story of West Palm Beach by using the cemetery’s headstones. Woodlawn Cemetery is the final resting place of some of Palm Beach County’s most influential and important citizens, including a few infamous ones whose story must also be told. This tour, conducted beneath a full moon, will last 90 minutes. Comfortable shoes, water and a flashlight are a must! WHEN: Monday, April 2, 2017; Check-in is at 7:15; Tour begins at 7:30pm. WHERE: Woodlawn Cemetery; 1500 S. Dixie Hwy. Parking is available inside the cemetery. COST: No cost. Donations welcome.
